How to use

Four steps to a wiped frame

Fit the clamp, load a cloth, wipe, then rinse and let it dry.

Fit the clamp

Onto the spare arm

  • The clamp comes on its black threaded adapter.
  • Screw the adapter onto the spare arm of the adjustable angle adapter from our 22ft pole kit until it is snug, so the clamp sits beside the brush.

Load a cloth

Twist to open, twist to clamp

  • Twist the collar to open the jaws.
  • Fold a microfibre cloth, sponge or scrub pad into the jaws, then twist the collar back to clamp it tight.
  • Give the cloth a tug to check it holds before you lift the pole.

Wipe

For a wipe, not a scrub

  • Wipe frames and sills, work on stubborn marks, and get the cloth into corners and edges.
  • Use the brush beside it to scrub the glass, so you can switch between the two without swapping heads.

Rinse and pack up

Let it dry on its own

  • Rinse with pure water through the brush jets and let the glass dry. Pure water from your Spot Free Rinse tank has no minerals left in it to dry into spots.
  • Twist the collar open to take the cloth out when you finish.
Tip Carry a few clean cloths. Swap to a fresh one when the cloth starts to look grey.

After each job

Rinse and dry

  • Rinse the clamp with clean water to wash out any grit, then let it dry.
  • Wash microfibre cloths in cold water and skip the fabric softener, because it clogs the fibres.

What can I put in the clamp?

A microfibre cloth, a sponge, a scrub pad or a folded towel. Anything flat enough to fit between the jaws is held firmly once the collar is tightened.

Is a cloth included?

No. The clamp and its threaded adapter are included. Use any microfibre cloth, sponge or scrub pad you already have.

Does it fit the 22ft pole kit?

Yes. The threaded adapter screws onto the spare arm of the adjustable angle adapter in our 22ft pole kit, so the clamp sits beside the brush.
