Is a car wash mop safe on paint?
The chenille head is soft, thick and paint safe. Its strands trap dirt and lift grime while holding plenty of soapy water, so you can clean large areas quickly. It's gentle on paint and glass, which is why it suits roofs, bonnets and windscreens.
Can I use the mop on a caravan or motorhome?
Yes. It's made for cars, SUVs, 4WDs, caravans, RVs and boats. The telescopic aluminium pole reaches roofs and high sides you can't get to by hand, so you can wash a van without climbing a ladder. Finish with a pure water rinse and there's no drying to do up high.
Can I wash the mop head?
Yes. The chenille mop head is removable and washable, so you can take it off after a wash, clean the grime out of it and use it again. Keeping the head clean between washes is the easiest way to look after your paint.
Will the telescopic pole rust?
The pole is lightweight aluminium, which is rust resistant, so it handles being wet every wash. The comfort grip handle is easy to control even when it's wet. Rinse it off and let it dry after use, the same as the rest of your wash gear.
Can I use the wash mop on windows and solar panels?
Yes. As well as vehicles, it's suited to windows and solar panels you can reach from the ground. The soft chenille head washes glass without scratching. For panels and windows higher up, the 22ft water fed pole kit is the better tool.
Do I still need to dry the car after using the mop?
Not if you finish with pure water. Wash with the mop and your usual soap, rinse the soap off, then switch your Spot Free Rinse tank to pure water for the final rinse and let the car dry. Pure water has no minerals left in it to dry into spots.
