Common questions
Can I add a bypass to an older Spot Free Rinse tank?
Yes. The Tank Head With Bypass is a direct replacement for your existing Spot Free Rinse tank head. It includes the bypass head, a heavy duty handle, 2 male connectors and a bottom basket. Tanks sold in recent months already have the bypass head fitted, so you only need this for an older tank.
Why does the bypass head lever show four positions?
The head is based on a design originally made for water softeners, which is why the lever shows filter, bypass, fast rinse and backwash. On our head only filter and bypass are active. The other two ports are blocked off because they aren't needed for rinsing. If you want one set up for a water softener, contact us.
What hose adapter do I need for a water fed pole?
The water fed pole hose adapter has an 8mm push fit on one end for standard water fed pole hose, a standard garden hose end on the other, and an on/off and flow control valve in between. It connects your pole to your DI tank or straight to a garden tap.
What is a swivel pad window washer used for?
The SFR Glide Pro is a 10 inch swivel pad applicator for scrubbing windows, glass panels and shower screens. The head pivots to sit flat on the glass, and the microfibre pad is machine washable. It fits standard extension poles. Scrub with it, rinse with pure water from your tank, and let the glass dry.
How do I wash the roof of a 4WD or caravan without a ladder?
Use a long handled mop. The Premium Telescopic Car Wash Mop has a lightweight aluminium telescopic pole and a thick chenille head that holds plenty of soapy water and is soft on paint. It reaches roofs, windscreens and bonnets on cars, 4WDs, caravans and boats. Finish with a pure water rinse.
What brush is safe for cleaning alloy wheels?
The Synthetic Wool Wheel Brush has soft, non-abrasive synthetic wool and no exposed metal, so it's safe on gloss, chrome, alloy and painted wheels. The flexible head bends into barrels and between spokes, and it works in engine bays and grilles too. It comes in large (46cm) and small (35cm).
