Set the length

- Extend the telescopic pole to suit the job — short for panels and doors, long for roofs, windscreens and caravan walls.
- Lock the pole firmly so it doesn't slip while you wash.

- Rinse the vehicle first to knock off loose dirt.
- Soak the chenille head in a bucket of soapy water — the strands hold loads of suds, so you'll cover big areas between dips.
Wash top to bottom
Light pressure only
- Start at the roof and work down in sections — the dirtiest panels are always at the bottom, so save them for last.
- Let the soft chenille do the work with light pressure. Rinse the head out whenever it picks up grit.
- Skip the very dirty areas like sills and lower bumpers, or do them last so you don't drag grime across the paint.
