What's in the box

Ready to use straight away.

  • 1 x SFR Glide Pro 10-inch swivel applicator with ergonomic handle
  • 1 x premium microfibre cleaning pad — machine washable and reusable

How to use

The two-step system

Wash with the Glide Pro, rinse with spot-free water, and let the glass dry on its own.

1

Fit the pad

Press it on

  • Press the microfibre pad onto the Glide Pro head so it sits flat and even.
  • Always start with a clean pad — scratches come from grit trapped in a dirty pad, not from the tool or the glass.
2

Wash the glass

Let the swivel do the work

  • Wet the pad with soapy water — a bucket with your usual detergent is all you need.
  • Or skip the bucket entirely: put a little dishwashing detergent straight onto the pad and wet it with spot-free water. It lathers up on its own as you wash the window.
  • Work the glass top to bottom with light pressure. The pivoting head hugs flat and angled surfaces — let it glide.
  • For higher windows, screw the Glide Pro onto a standard extension pole.
3

Rinse and walk away

No wiping, no streaks

  • Rinse the glass with purified water from your Spot Free Rinse deionised water tank before the soap dries.
  • Let it air dry. With 0 TDS water there's nothing left behind — no wiping, no squeegee, no water spots.
Tip Washing in full sun? Work one pane at a time and rinse before the soap dries on the glass.

Good to know

Pad care

Look after the pad and it will last for years.

Washing the pad

Keep it scratch-free

  • Rinse the pad out after each use to flush away any trapped grit.
  • Machine wash it with your regular detergent, but skip the fabric softener — softener clogs microfibre and kills its cleaning power.
  • Air dry rather than tumble dry, and store it clean and dry.

FAQ

Glide Pro questions

Quick answers before you start.

What surfaces can I use the Glide Pro on?

Any glass: house windows, glass doors and panels, shower screens, glass balustrades and vehicle windows. The ultra-soft microfibre pad is safe on all glass surfaces, and the swivel head follows both flat and angled panes.

Does it fit an extension pole?

Yes — the handle is compatible with standard extension poles, so you can wash higher windows without a ladder, then rinse them with pure water and let them air dry streak-free.

How do I wash the microfibre pad?

Rinse it out after each use, machine wash it with regular detergent — never fabric softener, which clogs microfibre — and air dry it. Looked after, the pad is reusable for years with no ongoing costs.
