DI Water Tanks for Spot-Free Rinsing: 10L to 25L
Spot Free Rinse DI water tanks are portable deionised water systems built for the final rinse after washing cars, windows, boats, caravans and solar panels. Each tank connects to a standard Australian garden hose and runs on mains water pressure — no pumps, no power, no plumbing. When the resin is fresh, output reads 0 ppm TDS, so surfaces air-dry with no spots, streaks or towel drying.

Resin life depends on your local water TDS — every tank includes a free TDS meter so you know when to replace the resin. All tanks take replacement resin, are pressure-washer compatible, assembled and tested in Brisbane, and ship free Australia-wide.
Common questions
What's the difference between the Lite, Pro and Commercial tanks?
Resin capacity. The Lite holds 10L of resin (2 bags), the Pro 15L (3 bags) and the Commercial 25L (5 bags). More resin means more litres of pure water between replacements. The Lite is $499, the Pro $699 and the Commercial $999, special order. All three come with the bypass head, TDS meter and 2m connector hose, and the Lite and Pro ship free.
Does the tank come filled with resin?
Yes. Every tank arrives assembled and filled with HFR (High Flow Resin), ready to use straight out of the box. There's no packing resin yourself and nothing to build. Connect your garden hose to the inlet, attach your nozzle or the connector hose to the outlet, and you're ready to rinse.
What does the bypass head on a DI tank do?
The bypass lets you choose between tap water and pure water from the same tank. Wash or scrub with tap water through the bypass, then switch it to pure water for the final rinse. That way the resin is only used where it matters, so it lasts longer. Every new tank comes with the bypass head fitted.
How do I order the Commercial 25L tank?
The Commercial 25L is special order, so contact us to order it. It's $999, holds 25L of resin and is built for high output work such as detail studios, drone cleaning and soft washing setups. Like the other sizes, it's assembled and tested in Brisbane. It ships by courier, and we confirm the freight cost when you order. See the tank page for details.
How much does a spot free rinse tank weigh?
The Lite weighs about 10kg, or 12kg when filled with water. The Pro is about 15kg, or around 19kg filled. The Commercial is about 22kg, or 29kg filled. Every size connects to a standard garden hose and runs on mains pressure, so there's no pump or power supply to carry as well.
Do I need to buy anything else with the tank?
Only a garden hose from the tap to the tank, which most people already have. The tank includes the bypass head, a TDS meter and a 2m connector hose. Later on you'll need a resin replacement kit when the meter reading climbs. For windows or solar panels, add the 22ft water fed pole kit.
