The three ends of the adapter

One small fitting, three jobs.

  • 8mm push fit connector — grips standard water fed pole hose.
  • On/off + flow control valve — control the water at your fingertips instead of walking back to the tap.
  • Standard garden hose end — male fitting that clicks into your Spot Free Rinse tank outlet or garden hose.

Setup

Connecting it up

From tank to pole in under a minute.

1

Connect the garden hose end

Tank or tap

  • Click the adapter's garden hose end into the hose coming from your Spot Free Rinse tank's OUT connector (for purified water), or straight onto a garden hose.
2

Push in the pole hose

8mm push fit

  • Cut the end of your pole hose square and clean.
  • Push the 8mm hose firmly into the push fit collar until it seats.
  • Give it a gentle tug to confirm it's locked in.
Releasing To disconnect later, push the collar in towards the fitting while pulling the hose out.
3

Set your flow

Control at your fingertips

  • Turn the tap on, then use the valve to switch water on and off and fine-tune the flow to your pole brush.
  • A lower flow gives the water more contact time with the resin — better purification and longer resin life.
  • Check the connections for leaks before you start.

Helpful tips

Best practice

  • If the push fit weeps, pull the hose out, re-cut the end square, and push it back in — a ragged hose end is the usual cause of drips.
  • Close the valve while moving between windows or panels to save purified water.
  • Rinse the adapter with fresh water and store it out of the sun when you're done.

FAQ

Hose adapter questions

Quick answers before you connect up.

Will it fit my water fed pole hose?

If your pole uses standard 8mm hose — which most water fed poles do, including our 22ft Hybrid Kit — it pushes straight into the push fit collar. Cut the hose end square first so the collar can grip and seal properly.

Can I connect it straight to a garden tap?

Yes. The male garden hose end clicks into standard Australian hose fittings, so it connects to a garden hose or tap directly. For spot-free work, connect it to the hose running from your Spot Free Rinse tank's OUT side instead, so purified water reaches the pole.

Why does it have a flow control valve?

Two reasons: convenience and resin life. The valve lets you stop and start water at your fingertips instead of walking back to the tap, and dialling the flow down gives the water more contact time with the resin in your tank — better purification and a longer-lasting fill.
